Welcome to the Windmillhopper! A family business offering daily boat trips along the Zaanse Schans!

Both father and daughter grew up in the Zaanse Schans area and have always had a passion for sailing. It was our dream to offer tours along the Zaanse Schans and to show tourists how special this place was and still is!
In 2012, our dream came true and we became official entrepreneurs of the Zaanse Schans.

In the meantime, skipper and guide Raymond has sailed tourists from all over the world around the windmills of the Zaanse Schans. He is as enthusiastic as ever about telling the story of this unique place.

With passion and enthusiasm, we offer small tours at the Zaanse Schans for a maximum of 12 people. This allows us to keep our tours personal and interactive! And that is what is most important to us: fun, educational and interactive tours. So feel free to ask us anything!
