Is the tour suitable for children?
Definitely! The tour is suitable for all ages. We have life jackets on board
Where is your pick-up point?
Our pick-up point is located at the little square next to the spice windmill 'De Huisman' at the Zaanse Schans. The cruise ends at this location.
What are the opening hours?
We start every day at 10.30 a.m. and the last boat trip departs at 5.30 p.m. For other times please contact us.
We are closed on Tuesdays.
Is the tour possible in bad weather?
Due to heavy rain and wind we can temporarily stop the tour.

Do you operate every day?
From April through September, we are open daily for a beautiful cruise along the windmills. But there are also days that we unfortunately can't sail due to bad weather conditions.

(Closed on Tuesdays).

About us
Varenrondzaandam.nl/Windmillhopper.nl was founded in 2012. Founder Raymond Deijle offers tours in our open boat along the windmills of the Zaanse Schans
Our boat
Our boat was built in Den Oever by the Luyt Group, which specializes in building alluminum ships. It is an open boat of 7.5 meters long and 2.5 meters wide. There is enough space for 12 passengers. The boat meets all safety requirements.
