Boat tour with a local guide along the Windmills
We provide an unforgettable experience at the Zaanse Schans! With our small-scale
cruises for up to 12 people, we sail daily on the Zaan in an open sloop.
We take you past the centuries-old Zaanse windmills, the historic warehouses and the beautiful houses of the Zaanse Schans. During the 25-minute cruise, your local skipper will tell you all about the history of the unique windmills of the Zaanse Schans. Because we take a maximum of 12 people, our tours remain personal and interactive. And that is what we consider most important: fun, educational and interactive tours!
In addition, our spacious sloop gives you the freedom to take wonderful photos of the beautiful windmill panorama!

“De Huisman” on the Zaanse Schans.
The cost is €11 for adults and €7.50 for children.

Raymond was great. He was very informative, kind and friendly. I would highly recommend him over the other larger boats sailing in the Zaans. With him you will get a more personal experience and a better view of the mills from the water, because it will be a smaller group.

Captain is very friendly and knows all the details of the area. He also offered to take pictures of us. The tour is great, especially with nice weather. You enjoy water with the fields and windmills. Definitely recommended and worth the price.
